Ray Williams

Ray Williams

Founding Partner and COO

In his nearly 5 decades long career, Ray has consistently proven to be excellent at pointing out the brightest stars. 

As head of A&R for Liberty Records, he discovered Elton John and introduced him to lyricist Bernie Taupin, forging one of the most prolific songwriting teams in rock history. He managed Elton during his first five albums and also managed Gerry Rafferty’s Stealers Wheel and Jeff Lynne. Ray has been the music supervisor on more than 70 films and TV projects, including the Academy Award-winning film The Last Emperor and the Sundance Best Independent Film Winner Saving Grace. With more than 50 years of experience in the music and film industries, Ray has dedicated his life to advancing the interests of all those he can help.
His current projects include serving as CEO and Founder of Crumbs Music Media as well as being a Founding Partner in NovaMusicLab.

Steven Raets

As CEO and founding partner of NovaMusicLab, for Steven it is all about creating art and helping artist.

As a highly accomplished engineer/producer, Steven has a love for all music. Born and raised in Belgium, Steven played in many bands and immersed himself in creating and recording original music while studying Applied Quantitative Economics. His uncanny ability to understand, visualize and hear the world through a multi-view perspective gives him an amazing approach to designing sound. Steven sharpened his skills to a finer point by studying under the direct tutelage of world-class Mastering Engineer, Vlado Meller. (Johnny Cash, Michael Jackson, Metallica, Pink Floyd…)

In 2012, Steven opened a fantastic production facility, Bunker Sound, in Chapel Hill, N.C. from where he records, produces, mixes and masters various artist in the US and beyond.

Scott Bradford

With over 15 years experience, Scott has made his mark as a musician, record label executive and entertainment attorney.

Scott got his start as a marketing executive for an independent record label in Los Angeles, working with the company’s artists to create and develop promotional and branding strategies on an international level. Through his legal representation of high-profile clients in the music industry (Linkin Park, Morrisey and Panic At The Disco – just to to name a few), multi-platinum recording artists, top-selling songwriters, independent and major labels, producers and merchandise companies, Scott has developed a reputation as an expert deal-maker and negotiator.
He currently lives in Durham, N.C., where he is involved in several projects related to the arts. Amongst others he founded The Wall Of Music Centre and served as Senior Licensing Director for local startup Zenph Music
